Dr. Al Siebert
Al Siebert is an internationally recognized expert in resiliency psychology. He is Director of The Resiliency Center and author of The Resiliency Advantage, winner of the "2006 Best Self-Help Book" award. Al is an ex-paratrooper with a PhD in psychology. He taught management psychology at Portland State U. for many years. He is quoted in many articles and has been interviewed about highly resilient survivors on National Public Radio, Oprah, and CNN. Al's keynote speech is titled: The Resiliency Imperative.

Bette Manchester, PhD
Bette Manchester serves as Director of Special Projects for the Maine Department of Education. Manchester designed a network and professional development plan that successfully launched the largest statewide educational technology effort in the country, the Maine Learning Technology Initiative (MLTI). This program provides a personal laptop for each 7th and 8th grade student and their teachers within a wireless school environment along with software, databases and professional development. Bette's keynote is titled: One to One Computing, Leadership and the Maine Story.
