Where can I find additional housing for my staff?
If you are bringing Additional Sponsor Representatives, please utilize the housing list at www.mthoodinfo.com. The Resort will have shuttle service to locations within a 3-mile radius of The Resort.

When do I have to have my showcase space cleared? 
Gold Sponsor must have their space cleared by 9 PM on May 7th. Platinum and Diamond Sponsor spaces must be cleared before Friday May 9, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. 

Anything that needs to be shipped should be packed and tagged and left in your Showcase space.

Q: What is the 2014 Theme? 


A: IT's the Wild Wild West

This theme is meant to convey to our attendees they should relax about what they can control in their work environments and look at ways to provide services and still meet requirements of regulations, resources, etc.
Sponsors are encouraged to utilize the theme in any activity/presentation in their Sponsor Space or other presentations. ACPE will be providing various activities and areas to promote the theme. Placement of activities/areas will be to encourage attendees to visit Sponsor Showcases.
Q:  Where is the 2014 ACPE Conference?

A:  The Resort at the Mountain, 68010 East Fairway Avenue, Welches, OR  97067-9706

Q:  What is available for Sponsor Housing?

A:  There are different options depending upon the level of Sponsorship

Gold:  Gold Sponsor Representatives are not supplied housing by ACPE.  We expect Gold Sponsor Representatives to obtain housing outside of The Resort.  There are many options in the Welches area.  Please see www.mthoodinfo.com.  The Resort will have shuttle service to locations within a 3-mile radius of The Resort.  REMEMBER:  ACPE will reimburse up to $125 per Sponsor for lodging.  Please submit your housing receipt to Gail Pfingsten at the end of the conference, or mail to ACPE, PO Box 6053, Portland, OR  97228.  Please provide complete remittance information.

Platinum and Diamond:  Housing is provided...  see Benefits.  

Q: What is the Additional Sponsor Representative price for 2014:

A: The cost for Sponsors to have representatives in addition to their 'free' representatives attend (Gold has 2 'free' representatives, Platinum has 3 'free' representatives and Diamond has 4 'free' representatives) is yet to be determined by the Board for 2014. They will make a decision at their retreat in October 2014.

Q:  What are the options for bandwidth in the Sponsor Showcase areas and what is the cost?
 
A:  In March 2014 all Sponsors will be asked if they need wired or wireless access in their area.  This will be provided free of charge.

Q:  When can I ship materials to The Resort?

A:  Due to limited storage space, The Resort requests that shipments arrive no sooner than 72 hours (3 days) prior to the conference.

Q:  When can I set up for the Showcase?
 
A:  All Sponsors can set-up on Wednesday, May 7, 2014.  

Badges will be required for your Sponsor Representatives/staff on Wednesday.  They can get them at the Sponsor Registration area in the Main Lobby beginning at 8 a.m.

Q:  When do we need to out of our Showcase space?

A:  Breakdown should happen as soon as possible after the event.

Gold Sponsors:  Your space will need to be cleared after the Wednesday event.  Anything that needs to be shipped should be packed and tagged and left in your Showcase space.

Q:  Will my company logo be included in ACPE conference material?

A:  Yes!  We will use the logo displayed on your company's website unless you provide us with a different one.  We will link to your company's website unless you provide another link.

Q: How many conference attendees do you expect:

A:  We have a long history and our data over the last 10 years that you will meet around 250 conference attendees. Our demographics also show that over 80% of our attendees are the key decision makers for their school district or provide significant influence. ACPE is aimed at high level leadership level IT professionals including CIOs, CTOs, Executive Directors, Directors, Network, Server and System Administrators.

Q:  When will Sponsors receive an attendee list?

A:  You will receive the list a week before the conference and a final list the week after the conference.

Q: Are there any extra costs for electricity, carpet, internet, chairs, tables, etc like other conferences in my showcase area?

A:  No, these basic essentials are provided free of charge. The ACPE Board's goal is to make your experience to interact with our membership as care free as possible. No "nickel and dimming" you.


Q: How do I sign up?

Before you do that, it is important you and your organization understand all of the information we have posted. Signing up through our form means you do. Exceptions to these conditions will not be considered for any reason. It is what it is ;) If you have a concern, please contact a Board member or JB (jb@acpenw.org) who can explain our reasoning further.
